About Us

It is interesting how our group got it's start. We all come from various walks of life and experiences. Ages range from 16 to 80 in our group. Either by interest in the paranormal and metaphysical, an interest in the historical past of various places and events, or personal experience with what lies beyond the physical, we have come together to seek the truth.

I think an open mind is a requirement for discovering the possibilities that there are things beyond our physical world that are hard to explain. At the same time however, we are in an exciting time in history where science might just give us a little glimpse into these possibilities. So, our group wanted to not only consider the metaphysical belief in spirits but to open our minds further to explore the science and eliminate the normal physical mundane reasons for some phenomenen as best we can.

It is an exciting endeavor to explore the world of spirits, ghosts, and whatever is out there in our local region here in Western North Carolina.

Some of the phenomenen that some of our members have already experienced are the ghosts of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC, an elderly ghost named Fred who spent the last 50 years hanging around a local bed and breakfast, and these are just to name a few of the experiences we have had.

One advantage we have with so many members who have metaphysical knowledge is that we can investigate and also help someone with a problem spirit by being able to talk to the spirit asking it to stop the negative behavior, asking it to move on, or in extreme cases banishing the spirit from the place and doing a clearing of the energy to eliminate the trouble. My preference is to try to help the spirit figure out what has it stuck and if its not harmful and not ready to move on yet, we're also fine with leaving the spirit be.
